Hiring - Placement Officer (IT Placements)

Role Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and well-connected Placement Officer to support placements for our Uptor product. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in IT placements, established HR connections, and hands-on exposure to placing candidates across modern tech skill sets. This role requires regular interaction with corporate HRs and on-site company visits to build and maintain placement partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
• Drive end-to-end placement activities for candidates trained through the Uptor product
• Build, manage, and leverage 200+ active HR/Recruiter connections across IT companies
• Coordinate with corporate HRs for:
1. Job openings
2. Interviews
3. Placement drives
• Arrange and conduct company visits to establish and strengthen hiring partnerships
• Place candidates in IT roles across multiple skill domains (Data Science, Full Stack Development, Full Stack Marketing, AI/ML, Generative AI)
• Track placement metrics, hiring progress, and reporting
• Collaborate with internal training and academic teams to align candidate readiness with industry requirements
• Maintain strong post-placement relationships with companies
Required Qualifications & Experience: • 2–4 years of relevant experience in IT placements
• Proven track record of placing candidates in IT roles
• Strong network with HRs, recruiters, and talent acquisition teams
• Experience working with EdTech, Training Institutes, or Skill Development programs (preferred)
• Willingness to travel to client companies for HR meetings and tie-ups

• Good coordination and follow-up skills
Preferred Background: • Experience in EdTech / Training & Placement domain
• Exposure to placement operations for emerging tech skills
• Hands-on experience managing corporate tie-ups
